On the Painting Bench

So last week we managed to do some more work on the LLS board.  It has to be up and running for this Saturday for Games Expo so if you are at the show come along and have a go.

Adventures on Paradise Island

A few posts ago I mentioned that I'd been playing a game on my phone called Paradise Island.  I was at club last night and Kenny said "nope haven't been following your blog at all."  He then opens up his iPad and shows off his Paradise Island to date.

On the Painting Bench

Okay so more LLS stuff done, though this time these are HerrUther's WIP of the 4 survivors used in the game.  All miniatures are from the Hasslefree Adventures range, sculpted by the talented Kevin White.

Massive Voodoo

I mentioned Massive Voodoo quite a while back when I did my 5 minutes online for The Ancible, and the site at the time was amazing.  Loads of information and a very active community which I thought was fantastic.  I hope lots of people went along and had a read.

Where did all that plaster go??

When myself and Si (HerrUther) started the LLS (Last Living Souls) board we discussed things we needed so we made masters and played around with them until we got what we wanted.  We then used some of the remelt molding compound that Kenny (Guru at The Ancible) had and got to work.

Paradise Island

I normally read on my way home.  Having 30 minutes on the Train gives you plenty of quiet time but sometimes I can't get a seat or even with my music on the carriage is too noisy so I play games on my phone.  Been enjoying Angry Birds but found a new little game called Paradise Island.

New Template

Okay its not something super special but I did find the new Template earlier today and had a swap over.  While not as stark as the one I was using I do like it.

On the Painting Bench

I've been seeing the pictures of the little board were building are causing some interest.  Will be nice to see it when Its all said and done.  I know afterwards things will get updated and re-painted for future shows as we try to make it better and better.

On the Painting Bench

Well not a huge update but some elements take a long old while to do.

So the board has now had several coats of paint and everything is the right colour.

The Ancible Issue 9 Goes Live

Well really pleased to say that Issue 9 of The Ancible has gone live.  You can download the Issue and all other Issues from the site for FREE.

Blooger Fail

Okay it happens to every system every now and then and seems Blogger had its moment last week.

For about 3 days I couldn't get into my control area, posts and comments appeared and disappeared at random times.

Seems that everything is working fine.  Though any comments posted from Thursday last week onwards have vanished I would say they will be gone into the ether.

On the Painting Bench

In my last blog about painting I said I would take some more pictures of the board and post them up.  As you will see from those last posted we have made a huge leap forward and with more work on it tonight no doubt we'll jump forward again.

On the Shelf

I read loads and since my last post I think I've read 4-5 books maybe more.

But I shall share a couple of them for now.

On the Painting Bench

Not sure if I can use the term On the Painting bench for this one.  The reason is that it has a huge life of it's own and fills a table now.  So its well over what I'd class as being a small project.

On the Box

I don't get to the cinema as much as I would really like to, so that means I have to catch up on some films ages after they have been out, or I catch them online somewhere.  Now before someone gets all digital rights on me, don't say you've never done it yourself unless you're really sure.  Watched stuff on YouTube?  Did you make sure it was legal or that the person who was playing a sound track had paid the correct money to the right people, No, I think not!
